Part one of child protection review published

Professor Munro was requested in June 2010 to undertake a comprehensive review of child protection systems within the UK.

Results of this review were anticipated in January 2011 to clarify the future of the Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) safeguarding schemes.

This
initial report from Professor Munro surveys the current state of child safeguarding systems in the UK. The final recommendations of the review are anticipated in April 2011.
