Bribery Act is halted for a second time

The Bribery Act 2010 was set to come into force in April 2011. However the Act will be delayed since the Act's supplementary guidance is still under review.

A three-month window was anticipated between the guidance being issued and the Act taking effect.

Commentators foresee the Act being delayed until the Summer though some sceptics question the coalition's commitment to passing the legislation.
